A Way of Seeing

Rooted in my Latin heritage, I’m drawn to the places where light, land, and humanity reveal our shared origins. From the golden warmth of Cuba to the ochre landscapes of Morocco, from the Amazon’s untamed wilderness to Iceland’s elemental beauty, my journey through photography is a search for connection, to others, to nature, and to the roots that shape who we are.
Â
Through encounters with Indigenous communities in Tanzania and Peru, I’ve begun to explore the enduring bonds between identity, ancestry, and belonging. These experiences have deepened my curiosity about the ways cultures differ, yet echo one another in their relationship with the land, and their communities.
Â
Captivated by the interplay of light and shadow, form and texture, I see photography as more than a way of seeing; it is a way of listening, discovering, and connecting. Every gaze holds a story, every encounter offers a glimpse into another world, and every landscape reminds me of our place within something greater than ourselves.
